On the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary, Tscherning has established a prize of DKK 100,000, which is awarded once a year. The prize will promote circular transition and active social responsibility in the construction industry, agendas that Tscherning has pioneered for decades.
The purpose of the award is to support innovative practice, development and/or research that contributes to circular construction, reducing CO2 emissions, waste and resource consumption in construction.
The jury has shortlisted the following from 44 submissions:
In addition to a grant of DKK 100,000.00, the Tscherning Prize 2025 also consists of an award sculpture/statuette designed and executed by the social economy company Råt&Godt.
The price sThe sculpture is made of 100% recycledugs and/or collected materialsand will have its own unique design from year to year - depending on what recycled materials the workshop has on hand and what these materials inspire.
This year, the Tscherning Prize is designed as a small insect hotel surrounded by buzzing bees, all designed and made with love at Råt&Godt in Aalborg.
