On the front lines of reuse, recycling and circular building processes
At Tscherning, we are constantly looking for better procedures that benefit our environment and climate. We are very aware that, as a demolition company, we have a central role in the circular building process and thus a special responsibility.
Environmental remediation and demolition make up approximately half of Tscherning's business, and by managing the process we can save the environment and the construction economy quite a bit.
We can dismantle entire building elements and install them in a new building. At the same time, we pay close attention to efficient logistics and transport. These options help to minimize resource waste and we save tons of CO2 in the form of embedded energy that remains in recycled materials, less energy for the production of new materials and less use of fuel for disposal and other transport.
In Tscherning, we work actively to set aside materials from our projects for reuse, up-cycling and recycling. This requires great technical expertise and specialized machinery. In the future, we must work even smarter, and therefore we try to be proactive with new methods and new technology, which must ensure that we can always meet the project's requirements for sustainability.
