I have great colleagues and we incorporate responsible solutions into every project. I learn something new on every job, and sometimes I even think it's an advantage to be a woman in the construction industry.
For us, responsibility is about more than just concrete and materials—it's about people. We create a workplace where well-being and development are central, and where we actively want to make the industry attractive to more people. More young people, more women, more minorities—the more people who find our industry attractive, the better. At Tscherning quickly from thought to action, and we value the human aspect just as highly as the professional. Here, there is room to grow, both as a person and as a specialist.
We are always looking for new colleagues – whether it's a permanent position, an internship, or an apprenticeship – so don't hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to receiving your application.

At Tscherning , we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to show what they can do. That's why we take a chance to give people that opportunity. We hire based on qualifications and willingness to work - not based on people's past.
You can also meet Tscherning at presentations, fairs and career events at DTU and KEA, among others, from where we take interns to the extent that it makes sense for both parties.
There is also the possibility of school internships.
We are happy to do our part to ensure that both we and the rest of the construction industry will continue to be able to hire qualified workers in the future. That is why we have a policy of always employing a large number of apprentices. We take on structural engineering apprentices in collaboration with technical training institutions, and we have also developed our own demolition training program, where we offer more than 40 AMU courses, practical training, and a mentoring program to give people the opportunity to be trained in the technically advanced and exciting field that demolition is today.
People are our most important resource. That's why the well-being of our employees is paramount to us. We go to great lengths to ensure that everyone has the best possible working day, gets home safely and returns happy the next day. It's the best way for everyone - and simply good business.
We spend a lot of our waking hours at work - so it should be a nice place to be. That's why we at Tscherning have put energy and resources into creating a head office in a homely setting with everything from green plants to sofa corners - built on recycled materials, of course.
Of course, most of our colleagues spend most of their time out on construction sites, but we love it when they come by.
We take good care of your safety. Machines are replaceable and repairable - our employees must be able to work for many years without injury or wear and tear. That's why we always provide you with the right equipment, safety clothing, protective gear and tools for the job. And have access to replacements as needed at any time of the year.
At Tscherning , we believe that both the company and the individual employees thrive and develop best through continuous upskilling. That's why it's our goal that all employees have an individual plan for their professional development while they are employed. We can also stand to learn more ourselves, so we listen carefully if an employee expresses a desire to improve their skills. It could end up adding important new skills to the company.
The workplace is also a social community. That's why we encourage and support social events and initiatives. For example, we sponsor the tigers in the Copenhagen Zoo and occasionally invite colleagues and their families to the zoo. And since trees - and especially the fir tree - are an integral part of our identity, we organize a Christmas tree event every year around Christmas, where all employees can greet each other over warm apple slices and pick up their own Christmas tree in the forest. We also have a mountain bike club, a fishing club, excursions, concerts and much more.
These five benchmarks will ensure we are moving in the same direction, give customers a clear expectation of the Tscherning experience, and help us hold each other accountable so we can collectively get better every day.
We work with the culture compass and the five focus areas when conducting performance reviews, GRUS and job interviews, as well as at department meetings and in our daily work, where the culture compass guides our work.
Our five core values guide our culture and how we work with CSR strategies, policies and implementation processes. Read more here
