Construction company Tscherning presents the best annual report in the company's 50-year history with a bottom line growth of 48%. The Tscherning Group reaches DKK 1 billion in revenue.

The balance sheets are reconciled, and for the financial year 2024/25, Tscherning A/S can present a turnover of DKK 839 million and a profit before tax of DKK 37.2 million. This is a bottom line growth of 48% compared to the last annual report. Thus, Tscherning A/S achieves the best result in the company's history.

"I'm incredibly proud of this year's result, created by Tscherning's highly skilled and dedicated employees. We have won a number of significant projects that have helped create the foundation for this year's results. In addition, we see significant growth in our activities within construction site services, operations and logistics as well as CO2-reducing solutions," says owner-manager and CEO, Søren Tscherning.

The solid result is also reflected in the Tscherning Group, which brings together Tscherning's sister companies. The sister companies Total Diamanten A/S and Gravmand A/S deliver solid results, and the Tscherning Group ends the financial year with a turnover of DKK 1 billion and a profit before tax of DKK 46.2 million. This is also the best result in the history of the Tscherning Group.

Demand for green construction solutions
In 2024/25, Tscherning has seen an ever-increasing demand for CO2-reducing solutions as well as an increased focus on reuse and recycling among customers. To support the demand, Tscherning has continued its green investments.

This includes the company's equipment, where 29% of the total fleet is now electrified. And it includes investments in a number of startups that offer climate-friendly products or CO2-reducing solutions. For example, Hyphen, a biotech and manufacturing startup that develops regenerative materials for the construction and furniture industry.

"These years are seeing exciting developments with new players testing and developing sustainable materials and technologies, but capital is needed to make these solutions scalable. We have a clear ambition to lead the way for a green transition in construction. That's why we support some of these budding hopes, which we can also support with our knowledge and experience from 50 years in the industry," says Søren Tscherning.

Anniversary year
This year marks exactly 50 years since founder and then owner-manager Georg Tscherning started Tscherning. When he bought his first machine for DKK 5,000 as a contractor in 1975 and started renting it out with himself as the driver, environmental considerations were always a focus of his business. It became the foundation for the Tscherning that exists today.

The generational change in 1997, when Søren Tscherning took over as CEO from his father, was the start of Tscherning's growth journey.

"For five decades now, we have shown that it pays to take responsibility as a company and that responsible solutions and a core healthy business are not mutually exclusive. Concern for the environment and people and a healthy bottom line can go hand in hand. And we must continue along the responsible path," says Søren Tscherning.
