Yesterday, we marked a very special milestone at Tscherning as Kim Volfrom celebrated 50 years in the demolition industry—a career dedicated to a profession that requires professional pride, perseverance, and a strong work ethic.

A new giant has moved into a forest near Hedehusene. The troll “Georg and the Bird,” created by world-renowned upcycling artist Thomas Dambo, was officially unveiled on Sunday, May 17—built from reclaimed wood from Tscherning’s own projects.
But the troll is more than just a work of art in nature. It is also a symbol of how green transition and social responsibility can go hand in hand.

Our project in Køge Nord—“From Fields to Wild Nature”—has just been selected as one of the official case studies for Børsen Sustainable 2026. It is a tremendous honor to have made it through the rigorous selection process and to be among the chosen few.
